Rigorous training at the service of your hormonal health
Medical Training at USAC
My journey in medicine began at the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, where I graduated as a Medical Doctor and Surgeon in 2014, with the conviction to specialize in the care of the hormonal and metabolic system.
Master’s in Internal Medicine
I completed my Master’s in Internal Medicine at Hospital General San Juan de Dios between 2015 and 2018, accumulating 7+ years of internal medicine practice that form the clinical foundation of my daily work as an endocrinologist.
Subspecialty in Mexico
Between 2021 and 2023 I completed my Subspecialty in Adult Endocrinology and Metabolism at Hospital José E. González of UANL in Monterrey, one of the most important reference centers in Latin America in this field.
Back in Guatemala, for my patients
After my training in Mexico, I returned to Guatemala to practice endocrinology with the expertise and rigor my patients deserve. Today I see patients in Guatemala City and make periodic visits to Petén to reach more people who need specialized care.
SCOPE Certification in Obesity
Since 2025 I hold international SCOPE certification for the clinical management of obesity, reinforcing my ability to offer comprehensive treatment to patients with overweight, obesity and metabolic syndrome to the highest international standards.
